It’s Indian Summer in Baton Rouge November 5th, 2005
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous the last few days.
The last couple weeks, we dipped to highs in the 50′s to low 60′s and lows in the low 40′s each morning. The warmup each day was nice, no clouds, sunny and cool. No air conditioning. No heating. Just nice crisp weather.
Indian Summer has now arrived in Baton Rouge — the Summer-like weather that shows up after the first really cold snap. We’re back to lows in the low 60′s and highs in the low 80′s. Yes, the air conditioning is back on again. We managed to avoid it for a few days, but the temps got too high.
We’re still without any significant rainfall since Hurricane Rita (September 24th). Every one is watering their grass, trees and the area around their houses’ slabs. Even a little bit of rainfall would be welcome…
