Kerio Firewall Sale ENDS TOMORROW (June 30) June 29th, 2006
Sunbelt Software’s Web-Only special on their Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall expires this Friday (June 30th).
Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall, also known as Kerio Firewall, includes two-way firewall control, program-level controls, intrusion prevention controls, and watches privacy data, too. It’s easy to use and powerful.
I recommend that every Internet user have a firewall program that controls information flow in two directions. They need it whether they use dialup or cable or DSL or connect via Ethernet. They need it even if they have a router on their home network. There is no adequate substitute for two-way firewall software on your computer protecting your computer.
The Windows XP Firewall only controls inbound communication attempts. It assumes that everything originating on your computer is legitimate. But, how many home computers are sending spam and participating in botnets? Make sure yours isn’t one of them.
Kerio is the PC firewall that I use for my computers, my wife’s computer and my son’s computer. It’s the firewall that I trust to protect my family’s computers, our information, and my business. I’ve got four licensed copies of the full-function “paid version.”
Read my detailed review at my Terry’s Computer Tips web site.
Right now, until this Friday (June 30th), the Web-Only Coupon Code (KERQ206) can save you $5 off the regular price of $19.95 per copy. Get the Sunbelt Kerio Firewall for only $14.95.
They also have a “2-fer special” that’s an even better deal. The regular price is $39.90 for 2 licenses.
But, right now — until this Friday (June 30th) — you can save almost $15 on 2 licenses. You pay only $24.96 for to license the Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall for 2 computers.

How about a 4GB MP3 & video player that does FM? June 23rd, 2006
Buy.com has the SanDisk Sansa 4GB mp3 player on sale, ending 6/25/06.
It also plays videos, has an FM tuner and is a voice recorder!
I have their 1GB MP3 player, which is really light. You load & unload MP3 files and even data files using WIndows Explorer — or you can use Windows Media Player to load the mp3 files. I assume this works the same way.

Spices from Spice Barn June 21st, 2006
I just placed another order for spices with Spice Barn.
I’ve ordered from them several times and been very happy each time. The dried spices have always been very fresh (as in "not old", they are dried) and flavorful. Spice Barn also has salts, peppers, popcorn seasonings, extracts & flavorings and spice jars.
Their smallest items are usually 2.5 ounce bottles (except Saffron, which is by the ounce). If I use the spice often, I usually order a pound — which is usually cheaper than a pint container.
This time, my order included gourmet black pepper, ground mustard, thyme and cilantro leaves.
World Cup Posters — Soccer / Football June 16th, 2006
Allposters has a great selection of posters for the current World Cup Championships. I’ve bought from them before and found their products to be excellent in quality.

AdwordAccelerator — indispensable tool for Google’s Adwords June 1st, 2006
I do some advertising through Google’s Adwords online advertising program. Adwords is the “advertiser side” of the ads that show when you do a Google search or when you see Google Adsense (Ads by Gooooooogle) ads on web sites.
I recently signed up for AdwordAccelerator, which lets me be much more effective with my Adwords investments.
With AdwordAccelerator, I can generate lists of keywords — well, I can sit and pull them out of the air, too, but this is much faster and more effective. Then, I can see how many clicks those keywords get per day!
AdwordAccelerator is a program that I installed. It does some of its work on my computer and it gets its data in realtime from the database maintained by the developers, who also developed AdsenseAccelerator and CashKeywords.

I can pick some of the keyword phrases and recycle them through AdwordAccelerator to create even more keyword phrases. And I can see how many clicks those get, too.
When I have the keywords and phrases that interest me, I can have AdwordAccelerator tell me how the bidding is going — and the corresponding clicks — for those keywords. What the bids are for positions 1-3 and the corresponding clicks, for positions 4-6 and again for 7-10.
So, I can see which keywords I really want to bid on to effectivly spend my advertising money…

Did I mention that I can see how many ads I’ll be competing against? And actually see those ads, too! (I can see ads that I place, too!) This is great because I can see the ads against I will be competing as well as knowing what they’re paying…
All in all, this is a great system for anyone who is advertising with Adwords. And, if you’re selling products and NOT advertising with Adwords, you’re missing a big opportunity.
They even have some great video tutorials on the AdwordAccelerator web site to show you how AdsenseAccelerator works.
Unfortunately, the membership is rapidly reaching the cutoff point. At that point, the membership signup will come down, and if the related AdsenseAccelerator program is any guide, all you can do is sign up on a waiting list for a possible chance to get access.
As of this evening, there are only 9 memberships left — priced at only $27.50 per month! Yesterday there were 22!
If you use Adwords, get AdwordAccelerator before it’s gone…
